Memphis

Call me crazy but I took my two energetic kiddos to see Nana and Papa Ginn in Memphis. It was such a fun trip and overall the kids were great. We did so much and had a blast just spending time with family and friends. My favorite part was watching my kids interact with my parents and siblings.
Here are some of the highlights of the trip:

kids watching a show on the plane
Just got to my parent's, don't worry,
by the end of the trip McKay and Papa were the best of friends =)
movie night with Nana and Papa
calling for "Brownie" to come home
Uncle Bill was tons of fun!
helping Papa mow the lawn
traditional saturday morning McDonald's run
cheesin it up
Mac and Mac Wil-bird, (long story)
gotta keep in shape even on vacation
Nana was tons of fun!

too busy pickin flowers to smile for the camera
Naomi's favorite attraction at the zoo
cute picture
Naomi the pilot
she was making us laugh so hard-she was driving really crazy and Papa was pretending to fall all over
the place and Naomi kept telling him, "you just have to hold on tight." It was pretty darn funny
The Main Event-We celebrated my mom's 50th birthday the week we were there. I misplaced my camera the night of the big party but the night of her actual birthday we went to a family friendly restaurant (cause of the kids). The tradition there is the birthday person gets a pie in the face, but the guys were really nice and just gave mom a dab of whip cream on the nose.
The Birthday Girl!
It was such a fun trip that we didn't want it to end, but it was nice to be home, in our own beds and it was very nice to see Adam again.

Mac

We love our Mac. That's all.

"Garfing"

Naomi loves whatever Adam loves. Isn't that how it goes with kids? Whatever dad does or wears or watches or sings or says is what the kids think is the coolest? Well, maybe til they get to the "too cool" stage in life, but in the case of Naomi and Adam this is how it is.
Adam is an avid golfer and so Naomi thinks the world of it, too. She got a Minnie Mouse "garf corb" (golf club) set a couple months ago and for a week it's all she wanted to do, for hours and hours, after Adam got home from work. He's taught her a little about the game, (just the basics, of course) and since she recently turned 3 he decided to take her golfing with him one afternoon.
They were both so excited and I made them stop to take a picture...I'm glad I did.

I love the looks on their faces. Adam tries to teach Naomi so many things, and I love that about him. He said she had a blast golfing with him and was really obedient, and even putted the ball when they would get to the green.
I love watching the two of them interact.
(The End of my saga about Adam and Naomi.)
(P.S. Try to say garf corbs like Naomi does and you most likely won't be able to say it correctly the first time. No one in our family has been successful on the first try.)
