OUR BIG NEWS....IT'S A ...........

BOY!!!!! Wednesday afternoon we went to the dr and got some great news! Our baby is a boy! We are so excited and can't wait to hold him. The news made it so much more real that baby #2 is so close!

Of course we would have been ok with having a boy or girl, but this is such a new experience! We are excited to have a little buddy for Adam and a sibling for Naomi, and I can't wait til I see my son! Can't believe those words yet. I'm still in a little bit of shock. At a few different times yesterday Adam and I caught each other staring off wondering what the little guy will be like. We knew what the other was thinking about. It was such a comforting feeling. And we can't imagine loving our kid as much as we love Naomi.

We were so excited yesterday that we had to buy something blue so we got "baby" a blue BYU onesie. He'll be wearing lots of Cougar appearal in the years to come so Adam was excited to have that be the first purchase.

Phoenix Weekend

Two weekends ago, Adam and I took off for a fun weekend in Phoenix! It was a wonderful time to talk, and laugh, and get to know each other even better than before! We loved having so much concentrated time together, even though at some points we we felt a little odd not changing diapers and fighting a toddler to put her clothes on!
It was so fun to wake up and make whatever plans we wanted for that day. There's alot to do in Phoenix. It's a huge city, but we kept it low-key, mostly because of my request. We found new resturants to try and shopped alot.
Sadly, these are the only pictures I took of the whole weekend! I need to be better at picture taking.

One of the malls had a huge arcade, so per Adam's request we spent a few minutes shooting hoops. Yes, I did beat him once. He was having fun trying on the beanies. He stretched them out cause they were so small, or maybe he just has a large head...
We watched Princess Bride right before the trip so this store's name made us laugh.

Nature Walk

Before the cold weather came along, we Chase Girls went up into the American Fork Canyon area and took a hike through nature trails. It was about and hour drive, along a windy road, to reach our destination. When we arrived, we scarffed down our Subway sandwiches, then headed down the trails.

The trails were a couple miles long, and just as rugged as we needed them to be.

Naomi is our outside girl. She would rather be outside than anywhere else in the world.

She had a blast going on piggy-back rides with her aunts, jetting down the paths, and dipping her fingers in the creeks, and she even saw Nemo a few times in the lake.

She's one lucky girl to have all of the love that surrounds her!
