A Night With "Santa"

Adam was asked to be "Santa" at his uncle's ward party. He consented and had a blast. He said there was so much magic and belief in the kid's faces and eyes.

We got some good pictures =)

When the party was almost over Naomi turned to me and said,

"Daddy's being Santa tonight."

We started laughing so hard. She figured it out! She knows daddy too well.

McKay was scared of Daddy Santa but wasn't scared of the Santa

he saw the night before who was a  stranger!

November Happenings

November has been so so busy! I love the Holiday Spirit that's in the air, the weather has been awesome, and the kids make everything fun!

 Naomi made her first Gingerbread House all by herself. Nana Chase hosts a gingerbread house-making party each year so Naomi showed us her mad skills.And she ate just as much candy as you see on her house.

Chicken, anyone?

McKay is the sneakiest-food-snatcher of all-time. He is so quick to grab it and get it in his mouth. Boy sure loves to eat! So yesterday for lunch I was having some chicken and he was close by. I soon saw this cute face in front of me....

Jackson Hole

Adam took me on a fun weedend vacation to Jackson Hole, WY. It was one of the coolest places and most relaxing places I've been. We had a blast seeing the city (it's not too big =)), going out to dinner each night, (never happens in our normal life routine!), watching movies, and exploring the Grand Teton National Forest. It was amazing. Everyway you turn in that town it's a gorgeous view. and I think I took a picture of every view I saw the whole weekend.

Halloween 2009

We had such a fun Halloween! It was Naomi's first time to trick-or-treat and she caught on fast!

 McKay's first Halloween! He was so much fun.

After we trick-or-treated the whole neighborhood we jumped in the car to go see Papa Chase (Nana Chase was out of town). Naomi was so excited to show him the candy she got and her Supergirl costume.

Here she is about 5 minutes into the drive, chowin down on some teddy grahams, her favorite treat of the night.

And here she is about 7 minutes into the drive. She was out so fast! I guess all the walking really wore her out! Adam and I were laughing so hard cause we were trying to get her to wake up but there was no hope. She was out for the night. I guess she had all the Halloween fun she could handle. And she didn't even finish the teddy grahams.
