Something fishy.......to do

We finally hit up the aquarium and it was really alot of fun. And I think the kids learned alot, too.
Here's Naomi checkin out a star fish...
She had no desire to touch any of the animals but loved learning about them
McKay didn't mind touching them, he was laughing so hard!
Gram Gram was brave enough to touch them too
Here are the adorable cousins (they're really Adam's cousins) that we went with-Thomas and Nick

Naomi and McKay are so lucky to have 3 great-grandmas and 2 of them live so close!
The pics are really dark mostly cause they asked me not to use a flash, don't really know why, but it was fun and the kids could have stayed there all day checkin out the animals. So if you're lookin for anything fun to do on these still kinda cold Utah days...here's an option.

Naomi's Garden

When I was little my mom and I planted a sunflower in our yard, and it grew to be so tall (or maybe I just thought it was cause I was small) so I thought it would be fun to do the same with my little girl. And I've always wanted to plant a garden and I thought it would be lots of fun to have my first with my Naomi. So we went to good ole Walmart and Naomi picked out each of the plants and we found a nice sunny place for them in our yard. We've been having lots of fun watering them and checking on them each morning to see if they are still alive! =)
The first day we planted the sunflower seeds...This smile makes me giggle.
Then the next day we planted the flowers...too sunny to smile for the camera
but not too sunny to make goofy faces

Lovin some enchiladas.....

We also went to the Children's museum downtown and the kids had a blast. I didn't take too many pictures there but we sure had a good time.

4 years... and oh, so much fun!

Who would have thought this Louisiana born girl and Utah born boy would some day fall in love and have a family? I'm sure glad it happened. Life is good.
I love you, my Adam. Thanks for being mine!
Here he is enjoying some frozen yogurt-our fav thing these days.

Church...at home...

Today Naomi conducted a church meeting at our house. McKay and I were the audience and she was in charge (big surprise =) ). I was having a hard time keeping a straight face, even though it was quite clever and sweet that she knew how to do this, it just made me laugh that she put it all together.

First she conducted us in singing our ABCs. Then she said a prayer. Then we sang "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam". Then she said another prayer. Then she gave some talks about who knows what. Then we wrapped up the meeting with another song-"Follow The Prophet"-and one more prayer.
At least we know she is getting something out of going to church. So all of those restless Sacrament Meetings ARE really worthwhile!!
I love being a mom.
