Our baby girl, Naomi Leigh Chase, was born at 12:14, early in the morning, Saturday, March 24th!.jpg)
On Thursday afternoon, I went to a regular check-up with my doctor and he said very bluntly (these are the exact words) "I'll call the hospital in a few minutes and set an appointment for you to deliver tomorrow." and these were my exact words "But doctor I'm scared!" He laughed a little and said, "well it's inevitable, Jess! You'll be a mother tomorrow."
I wasn't due til April 6th but the doctor's thought this was in the best interest for me and the baby. I sure didn't realize what I was going in for when we arrived at the hospital-I was still smiling!
Adam, mom, and I got there around noon on Friday to start the whole process. Terri and Jamie came soon after and they all kept me good company while we waited on our baby to come!
Naomi took her time in coming but she was welcomed by so much family that night--Adam, the moms/grandmas, and Jamie were with us in the delivery room. Grandpa Mike, Lynsie, and Katelyn were just outside of the door waiting to hear the first cry, and Grandpa Bill heard the happenings over the phone.
Adam and I decided to name our baby "Naomi" , after Adam's great-grandmother and after my great-great aunt, and "Leigh" after her mom. we loved that they were family names, and we were excited to pass them on!
Adam got to give her her first bath soon after she was born!

Labor really really freaks me out. I'm glad Jamie was there to "help" hold up the contraction monitor papers. I'm sure you really appreciated it. :)
What great photos! It was an EASY delivery for the rest of us! We are so proud of you!
