Uncle "Baa's" Visit

Uncle Bill came in town last weekend and we all had a blast. Naomi took to him really quickly and even named him Uncle Baa.

He flew in Saturday morning and soon after that we headed to the BYU Football game...Bill was in heaven.
Bill was here to experience our first snow this winter...
these are the clothes she put on all by herself, to go play out in the snow! so cute!

Sunday Night we had some friends over for dinner...

the kids ate snow..
adam loved holding the new baby...
And the rest of the trip we just enjoyed spending time with Uncle Bill.

We need a new camera...again/Tuacahn

We have managed to drown 2 different cameras in the past 3 months so now we'll need to get a new one, again, soon. The first one drowned in juice; the most recent drowned in bubbles. Don't ask how.

So until we get a new one, we'll be creative with our posts:

A few weeks ago we went to Tuacahn in St. George to see Les Mis. The theatre is all outside and the stage is huge! Up front there is a small typical stage, then behind it is the enormous red rock background. Just the stage was absolutely breathtaking. Then came the play....

The cast was perfectly selected and each could sing effortlessly. Cosette was my favorite-her voice was perfect, and she didn't even look like she had to take breaths to sing for such long lines and such high notes! Adam's favorite was Marius-Cosette's boyfriend. (Adam secretly wishes we could sing duets like they do.)

Wow, the whole thing was amazing. I could go again tonight!

If you live close and have any way to get there before it's over, give it a try. We highly recommend it!

Naomi, Naomi

There's so much personality in this little body. She makes us smile! We sure love having her in our family.
Naomi got a package from Nana and Papa Ginn and she wanted to put on all of the clothes at the same time!! And she had on her pajamas, too. We were trying not to laugh but it was so funny and she was looking so good!!

Ginn Mississippi Trip '08

This past Fourth of July, yeah this is really late, we went to see our family in Mississippi! Like every trip down there, we had a great time! We swam at grandma's everyday, had a crab broil, went to the town fair, and had a bonfire on the beach on the night of the 4th. The fun never stopped. The last day of our trip we headed over to New Orleans, and we brought our tour guide, Aunt Liz so she could show us the hot spots.
awesome dad...

it's never easy to say goodbye!

We have such a great family! Thanks for a fun time, everyone!

I didn't have a camera for the trip so these pictures are from mom and Jamie, so some might be repeats from jam's blog.....

Welcome Home, Elder Cory Chase!!

The 3rd Chase missionary got home from Florida about a two weeks ago and we are loving having him around! He served in the Florida-Tallahassee Mission and now he's re-packing his bags to go to Byu Hawaii for school and to play basketball.

Adam and his parents and other brother Ryan went to pick Cory up so we had our own reunion with "daddy" too. Naomi loved seeing him, even though it was 1 in the morning!!
